As usual ACO like to look at using their space in a different way – a way that can create an impact.

This year we launched the Ecobuild Design Fringe from ACO. It was a project that the exhibition organisers were hugely enthusiastic and supportive of. The Fringe was inspired by the well known Edinburgh Fringe. It provided a relaxed and informal environment whilst also bringing a variety of new and interesting events to the Ecobuild programme.

To keep a fast pace to the talks, the PechaKucha 20×20 format was used.

This is a simple presentation format, the speaker shows 20 images, each for 20 seconds, talking through the images as they advance automatically.

Multiple formats filled the exhibition area

Long Table discussions introducing ‘a next generation of thinkers’ – a discussion about the future of Sustainable drainage.

An interview with Instagram sensation Emmanuel Cole who has well over 100,000 followers.

A variety of ACO on AIR interviews with Thought Leaders from within the industry.
